Magpies and trout

both caught

by the captivators

Bright shining baubles,

shimmering spectacles

sets some a-dizzying

A lure and a hint,

a glamorous morsel

a promise of prey

And the captivators apply liberally

the silver of the familiar

the shine of faint surprise

and the tease of titillation
